Show, not tell

You can tell a story fine without a narrator telling us everything straight out. Most of the narration in this thing is telling us stuff we can already see. "What does the future hold?" - just show us time pass. "Bitey is lonely and stuff" - we can see that by him being alone and all the other creatures having companionship. "We are about to find out." - really? Just show us. I'm sure we'll realize we're about to find out something when we find it out.

Pretty, but that's about it

If only this game were as playable as it is pretty, it might be kind of fun.

You know there's something wrong when you have to justify your camera system in the comments.

but I hate that stupid ninja run.

The rope seems a little slow and gives the whole game a sort of sluggish, non-ninja like quality to it. If I'm playing a game about a ninja, I'm usually expecting to be zipping through levels with superhuman speed and flighty ninja acrobatics.

Maybe you should put less random stuff on the screen.
